How To Pray-Part 12

June 16, 2015

James 4:14“whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”

Prayer is the most wonderful privilege known to mankind. Right now you and I are experiencing on this earth what is called time. There was a beginning for each of us and if you read your Bible you will see that there is coming an end. You and I have a measured amount of time that we are going to physically live and God knows exactly how long it will be. What we are experiencing here on this earth is but a moment, the book of James says that it is but a vapor, and it is called time. Time is what God has allowed for His purposes to communicate with mankind. We all need to remember this when we start to worry about the future, or worry about our money or our health. We need to remember the big picture. God in heaven is very aware of all that is going on down here on earth. Nothing has escaped His notice and nothing is beyond His control. My friend, each of us will spend an eternity somewhere, it is either heaven or hell. Which is it for you? Either place is eternal. This here on earth is just time and it is coming to a close. Where will you spend eternity?
