The Believer’s Consecration Of The Christ Life-Part 13

July 24, 2014

Partial surrender can also mean mostly surrendered to the Lord, but there is one habit that we are clinging to and we’ve made an idol out of it and we have begun to say, “I don’t think there is any harm in this.” There is that one little something that we will not give up. When we choose to have a partial surrender and to hold on to a besetting sin, we begin to deceive ourselves and we begin to deceive others. It causes great harm. Do you have one final closet in your life that you are keeping the key to? My friend, if you truly want to experience true Christian freedom you must surrender everything to God. You cannot be partly for God and partly for self…God must have everything. If we want spiritual freedom, then our lives should be lived in such a way that God has complete control, because whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:32).
