The Believer’s Consecration Of The Christ Life-Part 3

July 10, 2014

My friend, we never follow through on our rededications to the Lord, we always fail. Rededication is an incorrect way of thinking. I believe the correct way to think is this, “Lord, I am not redoubling my efforts, I am simply saying no to me and yes to you. I am surrendering my life to you.” When we think this, it is and will be the Holy Spirit in you who lives through you to serve God. So, ask yourself this question, “What have I been consecrating to God? Self? What He sees as already dead, or Christ?” God’s Son living and reigning in your heart. Sometimes our rededications are nothing but trying harder in the flesh to do only what God can do through us by His Holy Spirit, and my friend, this is exhausting for any believer. The answer is not I, but Christ!
