Strengthening Our Faith-Part 4

February 4, 2016

Sometimes when things are hard it is God sifting us. Many times God uses hardships in our lives to reveal to us our strengths, but He can also uses them to reveal to us our weaknesses. When we are overconfident in our own strength, just like Peter, we too will deny the power and work of Christ by relying on ourselves instead of relying upon God.

As we go through hardships and difficulties, we never have to go through them alone. We are the blood bought children of God, and Jesus who is our Advocate and Intercessor is continually praying on our behalf before God the Father, that our faith will not fail us. Oh, what a Friend we have in Jesus!
