Strengthening Our Faith-Part 9

February 11, 2016

Why do persecutions, testing, trial, sickness, pain, sorrow and troubles come into the life of the believer? Are they a sign of God’s anger or displeasure? Do they happen by chance? How should we react to all of these things?

My friend, these things are part of God’s educated process for His children. They do not always come from God, but they cannot get to God’s children apart from His permissive will. You see, nothing can get to God’s sheep unless it comes from the Shepherd.

When we do not understand or like these things, we can know that our Father in heaven is Omniscient and He knows all things. He knows what is coming and He is praying that our faith will not fail. We can walk through this in His power and His strength. Nothing happens by chance to the Christian. Tragedies are blessings in disguise and disappointments are His appointments.
