Take A Stand To Endure-Part 2

August 18, 2015

If we are going to take a stand to endure we must make the scriptures our standard. The Word of God is the plum line, so we’re to make the scriptures our standard. Now, we’re living in a time where it’s hard to raise children according to godly principles. Our society and this world’s standard have permeated everything and there is no way to isolate yourself. Dr. Stephen Olford use to say, “It’s not isolation, it’s insulation.” This insulation comes from being in Christ and Christ being in us.

You see if they do not learn from mom and dad their values will become market place values, you can’t avoid it. They’re going to learn by what they see and by what they hear from others in the society in which they’re in. And so, we don’t want our children to be learning from the tide of the opinion of other people who do not base what they say and how they live and the decisions they make on the Word of God. We are seeing difficult times like this in our nation today and I believe it is going to increase according to the Word of God. So my friends take a stand to endure, make the scriptures your standard and teach them to your children and live them out moment-by-moment and day-by-day!
