Success God’s Way-Part 7

August 11, 2015

When a block comes into the lives of many Christians that they cannot explain they begin to have negative thoughts, “This is not fair. I do not understand.” You see, we all talk to ourselves and you and I have to be careful how we talk to ourselves.  If we talk to ourselves in a negative way it is going to affect the way we think, what we do, and it will affect whether we are a blessing or not. So when we find ourselves having negative thoughts about ourselves, or about circumstances, or about someone else in our lives, stop in that moment and choose not to talk in a negative way.

You see, you are a child of God, you are in Christ and Christ is in you. Are you going to talk bad about God’s wonderful creation, the new creature in Christ Jesus? Listen to what Paul said in Philippians 4:8 and then follow his example – “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
