Transforming Your Prayer Life-When God Is Speaking-Part 1

April 2, 2015

Hebrews 13:8“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

My friend, you and I must be men and women who keep our minds set on God’s interests and not man’s interest. We are to stick by the Word of God, and be led by the power of the Holy Spirit. We must be able to discern what we are hearing from the voice of man and this world’s system, and from many other voices we hear that are encroaching around us.

You see, when God is speaking, it will always line up with His Word. Amen!  God cannot and will not and need not go against what He has written in His Word. This is why it is so important for us as individuals to be in the Word of God, so we can know when God is speaking. If we are not in the habit of spending time in the Word of God, we can be easily deceived. When we are in the Word of God, knowing that God will never contradict His Word and we hear something that does not lineup with the Word of God, we know immediately that it is not of God. When we hear things that we know do not line up with God, we will be able to say, “We cannot do that. We must not listen to that. We cannot act on that.” So, my friend, God never contradicts Himself. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His written Word never changes and He does not change, so when God speaks it always consistently lines up with His Word.
