Transforming Your Prayer Life-When God Is Speaking-Part 7

April 9, 2015

When God is speaking it will call for a walk by faith. Are you are a man or woman who walks by faith?  Do you realize that a majority of Christians in this present day do not walk by faith? They do not step out and do what God is leading them to do even when it does not make sense to them and to those around them. They stay where it is comfortable. My friend, there are so many needs today, so many needs in the local church, so many needs in the work of Christ. Look at what Matthew 16:21 has to say.

Matthew 16:21“From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.”

Can you imagine what the disciples must have said when Jesus was saying these things? Can you imagine that their faith was being shaken as Jesus spoke of the things to come? My friend, Jesus was both God and man, He was the God-man and He was demonstrating the walk of faith to His disciples. He has called you and I to step out and walk by faith even when it does not make sense and we don’t understand it. My friend, if it is according to scripture then there is only one thing we can do and that is to step out and walk on the water and don’t look down and trust God with the circumstances that will come our way, some positive and some negative, but it will call for a walk by faith. Someone has said this, “We are a valuable to God as our faith is. God builds our faith through challenges.”
