Genuine Humility-Part 11

April 1, 2015

As Christians we know that true genuine humility involves an oneness in the body of Christ, it involves a diversity of spiritual gifts, and it involves fellowship with one another. Romans 12: 9(a)“Let love be without hypocrisy.”

This means let go of the playacting, let go of false appearances. If you will abide in Christ’s His love will come through. It is not a work; it is the work of God in and through you. Just like you can be out of fellowship with God, you can be out of fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ. My friend, how can you have fellowship with one another if you do not look for ways to get with one another? How can you commune with one another if you are not in proximity to one another? The Bible says, “Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren together.” If your desire is not to be with your brothers and sisters in Christ then something is wrong. You’re still thinking like Adam, you are a carnal Christian, or you have never truly been born again.

My friend, there is an old saying, “Birds of a feather, flock together.” Who are you flocking with?
