A Daily Word - April 23

April 23

Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. - 1 Peter 1:13

To the occultist, an encounter with a supernatural being can hold dread. Has it been properly appeased? Those in Christ don’t have anxiety about their ultimate meeting with Him. Since receiving Christ as Savior, they have armored their minds with the promise of His grace, and moved through life’s challenges with Christ’s favor at the center of their thoughts. They lean into His coming again at the peak of history, when every eye will see Him, anticipating the full manifestation of His grace in their lives. Some will shout, “Oh, no, Jesus Christ is Lord!” But grace-girded folk will exclaim, “Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is Lord!”

So how can you be on the winning side in the ongoing war against evil? And how can you win the specific battles you face in your own life?  Dr. Ed Young answers these questions in his booklet, How You Can Win Against Satan.
