“Pelet” means liberation

  1. A son of Jahdai in an obscure genealogy. (1 Chronicles 2:47)
  2. The son of Azmaveth, that is, either a native of the place of that name or the son of one of David's heroes. (1 Chronicles 12:3) (B.C. about 1015.)
