“Ahi” means a brother

  1. A Gadite, chief of a family who lived in Gilead in Bashan, (1 Chronicles 5:15) in the days of Jotham and of Judah. (B.C. 758.)
  2. A descendant of Shamer, of the tribe of Asher. (1 Chronicles 7:34)
